Media release about the orchestrated chaos in Haiti

Every day, Haiti’s sons and daughters are forced to flee for their lives. It is reported that currently, more than 1.3 million people are displaced by violence—the highest number recorded in Haiti’s history, according to a recent United Nations report. In the face of this catastrophe, Solidarité Québec-Haïti (SQH) wishes to reiterate that the sovereign rights of Dessalines’ legitimate heirs on the island of Haiti are non-negotiable.
If today, there is no legitimate authority in Haiti, while terrorists feed on the blood of the people, this is not a curse that strikes us. Bloodthirsty terrorists, corrupt politicians, and a network of economic mafias in cahoots with a foreign military occupation have completely destroyed the state.
The source of this endless chaos was a military invasion led by the United States, France, and Canada on February 29, 2004. This horrific multinational crime was then consolidated by 21 years of UN-backed foreign occupation of Haiti.
It is with dismay that we note the audacity of the malicious criminals who continue to operate at the national and international levels, offering the Haitian people ever more poison, supposedly to cure a scourge of their own making. The fact that Mark Carney’s government claims to be providing assistance to Haiti while Canada sits on a pile of documents, including evidence gathered on alleged powerful criminals of all stripes, is a true tragicomedy. Indeed, numerous Haitian nationals, including politicians, businessmen, and gang leaders, are accused by the Canadian government of fuelling the “Viv Ansanm” terrorist network. Among them: Michel Martelly, Gilbert Bigio, Reynold Deeb, Izo (Johnson André), Dimitri Hérard, Jimmy Cherizier (Babekyou), Vitelhomme Innocent, André Apaid, and many others.
If these accusations are not just for show, the Canadian, Haitian, and international justice systems must mobilize appropriately so that society can use this evidence against the alleged criminals and in favor of the victims. It is high time that all assets associated with terrorist networks be nationalized and become the property of the Haitian state.
Until justice is done, SQH declares: Down with all forms of imperialism! – even when sly hypocrites are among the culprits.
SQH reminds everyone that the following fundamental principles are absolutely non-negotiable:
- The Haitian people demand that all foreign vultures be expelled and excluded from Haitian affairs. Let Haitians breathe!
- Only Haitians have the right to choose legitimate leaders for their country, and this must be done peacefully. No puppets, traitors, or fifth columnists imposed by others must be tolerated, regardless of their skin color.
- Whether they are criminals associated with the United Nations, the OAS, “black-skinned, white-masked” mercenaries from Kenya or elsewhere, racist white mercenaries who signed illegal contracts with illegal “leaders” imposed from abroad in Haiti, the Macaya Institute, Erik Prince, or other associated criminals… The Haitian people are throwing all these evil projects down the toilet.
Let everyone, including the Government of Canada, take note: The time for neocolonial projects and racist plots against the Haitian people is over.
Finally, Solidarité Québec-Haïti continues to demand that Canada withdraw from the imperialist club called the “Core Group.” Canada must support an effective global arms embargo on US arms that fuel terrorism in the Caribbean, particularly in Haiti. Canada must adopt a courageous foreign policy, independent of the United States, and, above all, respectful of Haiti’s sovereignty. We demand restitution and reparations from the governments of all Core Group countries, the United Nations, and the OAS for the multiple crimes they have committed against the Haitian people.
